The Bastard from King John
Shakespeare in the Yard with Eastline Theatre
Shakespeare in the Park is a time-honoured New York tradition and summer just wouldn't be the same without it. So we've come up with our own socially distant take on it: turning our backyards into The Globe! Featuring a monologue from every single Shakespeare play.
Adventurers Anonymous was performed live January 23, 2020. Created as part of EastLine Theatre's Muse Anthology.
“An agnostic paladin, an asexual druid, a perfectionist-turned-fighter, and an oversexed bard don’t walk into a bar.”
Told through monologues, short scenes, and musical performances, 'Adventurers Anonymous' is a live virtual theatre event that brings to light the stories of five very unlikely heroines as they grapple with relationships, trauma, divinity, and the elusive nature of unicorns. Adventurers Anonymous is inspired by Calliope, the muse of epic poetry.
Please be aware this performance includes discussion of addiction, substance abuse, and death.

Episode 3: Spooky Halloween Stories!
In this episode, the Bardic Belle reads stories from Mary Shelley, Edgar Allen Poe, and Washington Irving. We also learn that the original text of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow spends a lot more time discussing Ichabod Crane’s personal habits than the adventures of a particular pumpkin-throwing horseman…
